Role Responsibilities

• Experience managing multiple current project and monitoring overall project performance, including:
  • Adherence to software development lifecycle
  • Management of Project Scope, Schedule, and Resources
  • Monitoring of project execution, implementation and ongoing client support
  • Routine collection and reporting of project status, issues and performance metrics.
  • Management of deliverables and client and resource expectations
  • Motivating team members, providing mentoring and coaching
• Experience working closely with the functional business groups to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of systems solutions deployed in support of business goals and objectives. 
• Experience working closely with technical team members to ensure solution quality and adherence to best practices and client standards/procedures.

Project Management Experience

• Minimum of 10 years project management experience
• Experience managing Software Development Lifecycle projects 3+ years
• Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects
• Experience managing project leveraging formal software development lifecycle methods
• Experience defining information systems requirements and functional design
• Experience planning and executing software testing plans / procedures
• MS Project /  MS Project Server experience
• Relational Database Skills
• Data Analysis Skills.

Supervisory Experience

• Directly supervise project teams of (10+) resources.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities of the project team including:
• Assisting with interviewing process,
• Resources planning and allocation
• Assessing resource performance
• Addressing issues and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

Project Management Professional (PMI) Certification Preferred

Pluses

• Prior software engineering experience
• Prior consulting experience in consultant role.

Description

• Responsible for sales of custom web and software application development to targeted companies.
• Must meet and/or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
• Objectives will be accomplished by identifying, developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and partners.
• Responsible for managing the entire sales process from penetration to deployment.
• Must be able to continue the relationship with the client in an ongoing manner.
• If applicable, determine and manage advertising and tradeshow effort.
• Must have a solid understanding of the technology services provided in order to accurately consult with a prospect.
• Targeted companies and assignments will be provided.
• Respond to RFI/RFPs.
• Lead negotiations to a successful close

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Professional Service experience is preferred
• 4+ years in sales and business development experience
• Strong leadership and sales management experience
• Demonstrated history of successful and long term client relationships
• Regional travel
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

• Performance tuning and optimizing the web site applications
• Interfacing with clients to gather and document business and system requirements
• Creating analysis, conceptual and detailed design documents
• Documenting and executing software test plans (unit and integration testing)
